Golden Cream Potato Soup

Cubed potatoes, milk, flour and cheese make up this creamy potato soup. Perfect for a cold fall evening. Submitted By: Hiatt’s Poultry, LLC

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Cubed Potatoes
  • 1 tsp Parsley Flakes
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ cup Celery Slices
  • Dash of Pepper
  • ½ cup Carrot Slices
  • 1 ½ cup Milk
  • ¼ cup Onion
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • ½ lb Velvetta Cheese Cubed


Directions

  1. Combine potatoes, broth, celery, carrots, onions, seasonings.
  2. Cover: simmer 15-20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  3. Gradually add milk to flour stirring until well blended.
  4. Gradually add flour mixture to hot vegetables, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens.
  5. Add velvetta cheese.
  6. Stir until melted.
  7. Makes 4 servings.
