Breakfast Casserole

Sausage, bread, milk and cheese make this casserole a delicious breakfast treat. Prepare the night before and warm for a quick and easy breakfast. Submitted By: Hiatt’s Poultry, LLC

Ingredients

  • 10 oz Sausage Links, cooked and sliced in ½ inch pieces
  • 8 slices Bread cut in 1 inch cubes (or 5 hamburger buns)
  • 2 ½ cups Milk
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese
  • 6 Eggs, beaten lightly
  • ½ tsp Dry Mustard
  • ½ tsp Marjoram
  • ½ tsp Basil
  • 1 can Mushroom Soup


Directions

  1. Grease 9x13 dish.
  2. Layer bread, sausage, and cheese.
  3. Beat together 2 cups milk, spices, and eggs.
  4. Pour over above, cover, and chill 8 hours or overnight.
  5. When ready to bake, pour ½ cup milk and 1 can mushroom soup over casserole.
  6. Bake 1 hour at 350°.
