Klug’s Strawberry-Rhubarb Krisp

A sweet dessert of sliced strawberries and rhubarb with a sweet, stickey oatmeal and brown sugar topping. Submitted By: Klug Family Farms

Ingredients

  • Fruit:
  • 4 cups 1inch Rhubarb
  • 4 cups Strawberries- halved
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • ¼ cup Orange Juice
  • Topping:
  • 8 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Flour
  • ½ cup Oatmeal
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • Dash of Salt and Cinnamon


Directions

  1. Fruit:
  2. Combine in a bowl. Pour in a greased 9x13 baking dish
  3. Topping:
  4. Mix in separate bowl.
  5. Crumble on top of fruit in baking dish.
  6. Bake in preheated oven at 375° for 45 minutes.
